![]() Tanks also benefit from Lucio’s slow but constant healing as they have such big health stores, to begin with, so they are less likely to become critical suddenly. You will want to speed boost heroes from the spawn room to the objective as they tend to move slower. It is also a good idea for Lucio players to monitor their tanks closely. Dash around all you want just do this around the core of your team. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this Hero aims to. Lucio can only deal minimal damage at the best of times, and even if you can get an elimination, your team will be at a disadvantage as they are left with only one support. Lucio is primarily a healer in Overwatch 2 who belongs to the Support class in-game and aids his allies while taking fights of his own. Wherever the battle’s at in Overwatch, support is just a song away. Unless you are rushing back to contest an objective, there is no point going off on your own. Despite being able to speed boost your team, you can leave heroes behind if you wallride or dash around, leaving teammates out of range. However, while you may be able to zoom off as Lucio, it doesn’t mean your team can keep up. I was gonna do a simple reply but the more I type the more I want to type.In Overwatch 2, Lucio’s biggest asset is his speed. So if you need to get an ally OUT of trouble you better hope they have ZERO poke or utility otherwise they’re just gonna die anyway. Then when you speed boost you stop healing completely. The Wholesome Overwatch Community got my back :).streaming /HercLFblizzardentertainment baptiste blizzardgames dva dvacosplay lucio. ![]() But if they have more healing you’re already at a huge disadvantage until beat drop. ![]() Hes designed to heal flankers and high mobility heroes…but if they use their high mobility they lose the only point of even having that hero.Īnd then theres lucio. AND these orbs disappear after 3 seconds. Lucio is a versatile Support in Overwatch 2, as his passive healing allows him to focus on more than just topping up his teammates when they get low. I’ve seen matchups like that lost even though the one guy takes more damage and the other guy is getting healed. I didnt feel like we needed so much healing ages ago.īut like zen you throw a discord on one guy and a harmony on the other and they Duke it out… theres still not a clear winner. Their other support abilities dont seem to be enough compensation for having such low healing.īack in the day it seemed ok. Like damage is super high so you always need at least one guy who can mega heal…and zen/lucio just tickle heal for no reason. I played with a lucio last night in plat who would use healing amd speed boosts at an ok time as far as I could tell…BUT when I was cornered by rein and brig he just flew way past me and left me to die when I coulda easily just left with him. Lucio across the board can be frustrating. I actually get a lot of satisfaction from killing people with dynamite or moira orbs when the enemy has lucio because those abilities are countered by having a semi aware and good support, but lucio can’t do anything. ![]() I feel like most people only play him because he’s a “cool guy” Where he just provides a very thin cushion for poke damage. Plus I feel like every other healer can reactively save people. His only value is he has a broken hit box so no one can hit him. I know he gets better the higher you go into ranked, but I find him so useless and unhelpful in lower ranks. Once he leaps off a wall, he will receive a burst of speed. Hes capable of healing, providing movement speed for his allies. While doing this, Lcio has a +30 movement speed buff. Lcio is a solid support hero for any Overwatch team and in some cases is almost a must have. It is a passive skill that gives him the option to jump onto a wall and ride along with it. His ult doesn’t save you much anymore with all the damage and counters we have nowadays and I often find I can get close to two support Ults before lucio is close to getting his first. This is undoubtedly the ability that makes Lcio one of the fan-favorite support heroes in Overwatch. I just find him to be the 2nd worst healer (in uncoordinated teams)Īlways on speed even tho we are already on point and everyone’s on criticalĪlways out trying to get boops rather than help the team (yes boops are good if you’re actually getting the kills)Īlways silver healing and claiming their 16hps is saving everyone
